15, 2019) Jesse James Lay and his Outlaw Racing
team made a last minute call to travel to Moler Raceway Park in
Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday evening, June 14 to do battle in a
$1,500 to win Super Late Model event. Jesse blew a tire in his heat
race and later pulled off early in the 25-lap main event to settle
for a fifteenth place showing. His son Austin Lay made his first
start against the Super Late Models and was credited with a respectable
thirteenth place performance in the unsanctioned contest. Tonight's
program at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky was then wiped out

2, 2019) The Outlaw Racing team and driver Jesse
James Lay invaded Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky once again
on Saturday evening, June 1 for a weekly Super Late Model program.
Jesse ran third in his heat race and posted another top five performance
in the $1,200 to win feature event at the nearby 1/2-mile oval.
At the unfurling of the checkered flag following thirty green flag
circuits, Jesse was fifth behind only victor David Webb, Billy Green,

Lay Turns Heads During $5,000 Show
at Nearby Florence
26, 2019) Jesse James Lay and his #33 team were
back in the pit area at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on
Saturday evening, May 25. An unsanctioned Super Late Model show
at the nearby 1/2-mile oval drew a strong 38-car field to do battle
for the $5,000 winner's check. Jesse, who has been consistently
fast all year long at Florence, won his loaded heat race over Darrell
Lanigan and Frank Heckenast, Jr. and later rolled off from the outside
of the front row in the 50-lap feature event. After running inside
of the top five early in the contest, Jesse was eventually caught
up in a skirmish caused by another competitor and was relegated

19, 2019) The #33 Outlaw Racing team rolled back
into Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday night, May
18. A weekly Super Late Model program was held at the nearby 1/2-mile
oval and a $1,200 winner's check was up for grabs. Jesse James Lay
improved three spots in his heat race to finish fourth and later
rolled off from the inside of the fourth row in the 30-lap headliner.
Jesse was then on the move again in the A-Main and blasted up inside
of the top five to finish in the fifth position behind only victor

team looked to finally beat Mother Nature on Saturday evening, May
11 in a weekly $1,200 to win Super Late Model program at the nearby

in heat race action and was looking for an impressive run in the
30-lap feature event as well. Unfortunately, rain showers before
the start of the A-Main doomed the night and the race will not be

14, 2019) The Outlaw Racing team invaded Florence
Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday night, April 13 for another
$1,200 to win weekly Super Late Model showdown. Jesse James Lay
placed fourth in his heat race and later started the 30-lap main
event from the outside of the fourth row. Jesse then vaulted all
the way up to second and was running in the runner-up position late
in the distance before getting shuffled back to fifth at the unfurling
of the checkered flag. The Union, Kentucky ace finished behind only
victor Josh Rice, Austyn Mills, Trevor Landrum, and Dustin Nobbe.

2019 season opener, Jesse James Lay finally lifted the lid to his
year on Saturday evening, April 6 at the nearby Florence Speedway
in Union, Kentucky! Jesse started at the tail of his heat race,
but did not stay there for long - blasting all the way up to third
in his prelim. After starting the $1,200 to win Super Late Model
feature event from the outside of the second row, Jesse drove to
the front and led the majority of the distance. A bad restart following
a late caution flag possibly cost him a victory, but the Union,
Kentucky driver was able to bring home a strong third place podium
performance in the 30-lapper behind only race winner Robby Hensley

Lay Releases 2019 Racing Schedule;
Set to Run for Florence Points
1, 2019) After Florence Speedway recently released
their 2019 racing schedule, Jesse James Lay confirmed today that
he will follow the entire schedule to vie for another Super Late
Model track championship at the nearby Union, Kentucky speedplant.
Jesse, who finished third in the final point standings last season,
will start his '19 campaign - weather pending - on Saturday, March
9 in the annual 'Spring 50.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special
at the 1/2-mile oval will once again boast a $5,000 payday. You
