• Jesse is a full time master plumber at Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing where he is part owner along with
  his two brothers, Tony & Mike.  Lay's Plumbing was started by Jesse's dad, Joe Lay, in 1970.

• Racing is a hobby that Jesse enjoys doing on the side.

• Started racing in 1988.

• 12 yrs in late models.

• He has features wins @ Florence Speedway, Lake Cumberland, Bluegrass Speedway, Clinton County,
  Richmond Raceway and Oakshade. He has made the North/South 100, World 100, Dream 100, Jackson 100,
  has made all BoB races that he has competed in. He also has feature wins in the Sunoco, NALMS & BoB Series races. 

2008 - Florence Speedway Track Champion in the Late Model Division.
2006 - Florence Speedway Track Champion in the Late Model Division.
2003 - Finished 4th in the STARS Battle of the Bluegrass Series points standings with one win on the circuit.
2002 - 3rd in points in the STARS Battle of the Bluegrass Series
2001 - Made the "World 100" at the famed Eldora Speedway
1999 - 4th in points in the Sunoco Series
1994 - Ran 6th in Inaugural "Dream Race" at Eldora Speedway
1993 - Late Model "Rookie of the Year"
